Mechanical Engineer

The left image is a teammate and I working on our capstone engineering project where we created an automated system for handling biofluids using technology Dr. Claire Hur created. This project was aimed to help women in low resource areas have better access to prenatal health care. Having the opportunity to save many lives that early on in my career was amazing. 

The right image is myself with teammates on the Blue Jay Racing Baja team machining parts for the car. Almost every part of the vehicle is designed and created by members of the team giving us significant experience in designing and manufacturing a product we would end up using. Each year we place very highly in the cost report competition and have placed top ten several times when racing the vehicle.
